On behalf of the Canadian government, we created Taste of Canada, an e-commerce-focused culinary diplomacy initiative with the goal of promoting Canadian culture and food in the German speaking countries (GSA). As such, Taste of Canada is an absolute lighthouse project to promote Canada's culinary arts worldwide.
We organized an extraordinary event on board the ship Cap San Diego in the port of Hamburg for the largest Finnish meat producer Atria. Buyers from the German supermarket chains EDEKA and REWE were invited to test the latest Atria products.
In order to raise the attention of journalists for the United Kingdom's booth at the world's most important wine fair, ProWein, we were asked to accompany the fair with a press campaign and thus generate attention for the extraordinary british wines and spirits made in the UK!
The Food Embassy team is very well connected in the German food and beverage sector and has all-round market knowledge. In the course of our joint events, I was able to benefit again and again from this broad network and FoodEmbassy’s great expertise.
Food Embassy has been an exceptional partner in our introductory launch of our Clubtails and Johny Bootlegger products in the European market. They have guided us well into the German market while providing a wide range of brand exposure from a Marketing standpoint and provided much business intelligence on the Sales aspect as well. They have helped us all along the way with their creative expertise and business sense. We are looking forward to continuing to grow this partnership in the years to come.
The Food Embassy team has supported us with our Taste of Canada campaign since 2020. They have been an invaluable asset from launching our e-commerce campaign in Germany in the midst of the pandemic to adding two more markets with Austria and Switzerland in 2022. We are impressed by their creativity which has helped us to raise our profile and increase brand awareness. Their networking skills are a huge benefit to the campaign, with their approach to media outreach, content creation, and influencer relations helping us to increase our visibility and credibility among our target audience. We look forward to continue working with them on this project.
